Mouthguard
If you notice an abnormal amount of wear on your teeth, you might have bruxism or be a "grinder". Your doctor will check your teeth and ask you some questions to determine if this is the case. While a mouthguard won't restore your teeth, it will protect them from futher wear and tear.
The Smile Shoppe can create a custom mouthguard that will fit your teeth perfectly. Our team will take an impression of your mouth and deliver your custom-fitted mouth guard within a couple days!

Sports Guard
If you are in a contact sport, you will absolutely want to protect your smile with a sports guard. All it takes is an elbow or a wildly-thrown baseball to cause damage or a loss of a tooth/teeth.
Sports guards are made in our office and are custom-fitted for your unique mouth. They fit much better and offer much more protection that the "boil and bite" store-bought mouthguards, plus they offer superior comfort and breathability. Some patients find them so comfortable that they forget they are even wearing them!

Snore Guard
Have people told you that they can hear you snoring from the other room? Do you frequently wake up tired? You might be a candidate for a snore guard!
At your snore guard consultation, your doctor will ask you questions to see if a snore guard is recommended. At your snore guard appointment, an impressions will be made of your teeth and a custom-fitted appliance will be made for you. Frequently, a sleep study is recommended to rule out sleep apnea, a potentially life-threatening condition.
Snoring can occur when a person's jaw becomes relaxed and their tongue moves toward the back of the throat. The snoring noise comes from the vibration of these tissues which are now in close quarters to each other. A snore guard will usually advance your lower jaw to keep your tongue in it's correct position.
We are told that many marriages have been saved just by this one appliance!
